Hey girl, hey!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I can’t wait to connect with you, learn more about your health and fitness journey, and discover how I can help you get stronger from the inside out, while we work towards achieving your goals together.
I know there are tons of fitness professionals out there, endless workout options, and more information than you may know what to do with, so I thank you for taking the time to visit my page, and possibly give me the opportunity to become your new coach, accountability buddy, friend, and your biggest cheerleader.
I want to share a little bit about me, and what my mission for you is. I’m a dedicated and passionate National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, and I genuinely care about helping you build strength, confidence, and reach your own unique goals with a strategy that works for you.
I developed a true passion for health and fitness over 15 years ago when I began my own weight loss journey during my sophomore year of high school. I realized at a young age that prioritizing exercise, proper nutrition and overall health was crucial to creating a better quality of life for myself. After I achieved a significant and lasting weight loss transformation, I wanted to learn as much as possible, so I could help inspire others and show them how to successfully reach their own health and fitness goals too.
In 2011, I graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. I decided to embark on a career in Law Enforcement after graduation, and I served as a Deputy Sheriff/Police officer for approximately 3.5 years, but I inevitably gravitated back to my roots to pursue my true passion for working in the health and fitness industry.
I became a NASM certified personal trainer in 2017, and I spent my first year in the fitness industry working for the Crunch Fitness corporate location in Blackhawk, California. I worked with a diverse range of clients from youth, weight loss, strength and endurance, as well as senior clients, and I worked diligently to help them reach their unique goals. I took a brief hiatus from the fitness world, but I came back stronger than ever in July, 2021 when I launched my own fitness brand, Making Fit Count Lifestyle, welcome here!
This is MY WHY… in a world with endless workout options and trendy new modalities on the rise, the need for individualized exercise programs still exists. I believe achieving your health, fitness, and wellness goals is not “one size fits all.” Your goals deserve to be treated like they are unique and significant, just like you are, and I’m here to awaken that mindset within you.
When you work with me, I won’t just give you a workout, you can find a workout pretty much anywhere you look. What you will get with me is structured 1 on 1 personal training and a well-rounded, progressive program that will address efficient movement, flexible nutrition that will teach you how to fuel your body with MORE of the right things, and I’ll provide you with a strategy to balance all things mind, body and soul. I’ll design an individualized program for you that is based on structure, fundamental, and meaningful movement that your own body needs, while keeping your own unique fitness level and goals in mind.
No gym? No problem! I can customize workouts for you based on the exercise equipment you already have access to, and I can also recommend portable, compact, and most importantly, affordable exercise tools to add to your home space, or equipment that’s compact enough to travel with to keep you active on the go.
You can work out at your own pace in the comfort of your own home, at your favorite gym, or for those who travel often, you can complete your workouts away from home. Having access to your individualized programs at your fingertips allows you complete them anywhere, at a time that is most convenient for you, so you can stay on track, no matter what life throws at you.
I will always make my best effort to apply the most effective strategies to help you succeed at reaching your goals.
